People have tendency to look at immediate issues or follow footsteps of others. 90% of people do not take time to verify facts before taking any judgement. They do not even realize that they are also part of the problem and not the solution. Recent news that we read in newspapers are very disturbing.

Everyone today wants to outdo the other in competition. If you go in big cities in India the pace of life is unforeseen. Even those Non Residents who travel to India feel this. People today do not have time for themselves as they have to work to meet their routine. Internet and Mobile for good or bad has added fuel to the fire.

10 out of 12 months in Ahmedabad is like Summer. April - June temperature rises to 48 to 49 degrees and with concrete buildings all around and no trees, even little wind blowing just burns you.

You cannot live without AC anymore. While Gujarat talks of Economic Growth, I foresee Ahmedabad will be a deserted city by 2017 if urgent steps are not taken.

I own 9 properties in Ahmedabad and am now going to see if I can start selling them. All my future plans to expand business in Ahmedabad now have been cancelled indefinitely!

We all knew (at least I knew) this was coming!. I run a Software company and when I was looking to hire developers, I was forced to pay very high market rates. Kids out of the school got top offers from big outsourcing companies. Some of these students did internship with us and I did not see them any different then those who did not get placement. In some instances, the not so creamy layer students did much better in their projects in our company. I ended up offering jobs to many of the students who did not have placement through college and did their internship with us.

Today I had a very hectic day. I had been to one funeral and upon my way back got another news of a lawyer friend who was in critical condition at Civil Hospital.
